I lost my job last year at a school due to the principal and I had personality conflicts. I want to file for an extension of unenjoyment but am unsure of how to do that? Please don’t send responses like get a job? That is not the point of my question. I just would like an answer on how to do the paper work for an extenstion on unemployment.

  1. Your state department of employment should be able to answer that for you.

  2. You’re an educated person, surely there must be SOMEWHERE you can work.

If you aren’t motivated, get some counseling.

  3. Depends on your State. Most require that you go to the local office to file. Some sates do not have extensions. My State, Arkansas, does not have extensions. 13 weeks is the most you can get.
