Just recently obtained class a license and am looking for a local trucking job in san diego. It’s hard to find listings for local jobs but plenty for cross country jobs. Any sites anyone can recommend?

    It is very rare to find a trucking company that will put a newly licensed driver into a ‘local’ position. Almost all have to ‘do their time’ OTR to gain experience before they can find local work.

    Contact the Safety and Recruiting departments of the trucking companies near you. Look in the yellow pages, not online. Personally, I can’t think of one company that advertises for local drivers. It is pretty much a ‘hire from inside’ thing.
